On March 29th 2016, Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) Nguyen Van Tuan had a meeting with Ambassador of Italy in Vietnam, Mrs. Cecilia Piccioni.
VNAT works with Ambassador of Italy in Vietnam
At the meeting, Mrs. Cecilia Piccioni informed in the coming time, a delegation of famous Rai Television of Italy will arrive in Vietnam to make a reportage film about Vietnam’s tourism, culture, history, and economy as well as the cooperation relationship between the two countries.
The filming will last within 10 days. This will be a good chance to promote Viet Nam’s beauty and people to Europe and attract more int’l tourist to the country, she added.
For his part, Director General Nguyen Van Tuan highly appreciated the plan of Rai Television and affirmed that VNAT will best support Italian film makers during their trip in Vietnam.
A huge tourist exchange potential
Mr. Tuan emphasized that Italy is a country of unique cultural quintessence and the two countries have a huge tourist exchange potential. Therefore, he hoped that Italian Government will ease visa procedures to facilitate Vietnamese tourists visiting Italy and Europe in the future.
After Rai Television, VNAT will also invite another Italian famtrip to survey tourism in Vietnam.
