Cuc Phuong National Park is located in the areas of three provinces including Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa. With an area of 23,000 square kilometers, Cuc Phuong owns an extremely diverse ecosystem, thus, attracting a large number of tourists.
There are many routes and tourist attractions for you to choose when visiting Cuc Phuong: Botanical Garden, Observation Tower ( a short climbing route with beautiful scenery), Cave of Prehistoric Man (one of the habitats for prehistoric man together with the diversity of bat species, ancient Dang tree ( the route in the jungle, passing through many rocky slopes).

From Hanoi, you move a distance of 70 kilometers to reach Hoa Binh town, go 60km to Mai Chau. You will go through Doc Cun (Cun slope)with a length of 12 kilometers. This slope is a winding and dangerous road. Sometimes you feel as if the car was going into a sea of clouds. Located at an altitude of 200-1,500 meters, Mai Chau has the cool climate all year round.
Mai Chau is known as the capital of the Thai people. Here tourists usually go to visit Lac village, which is a famous tourist village with the typical characteristics of the land and the regional people. The name of Thung Nai originates from the fact that in the past, this valley was home to various herd of deer. Thung Nai has the breathtaking landscape because of rivers, mountains, caves and streams.
Thung Nai is famous for Thac Bo Temple of God, Thac Bo Cave, Thac Bo Grotto, Mu village, floating nameless islands on the water and boats keeping fish on the lake. This is the residential area of ethnic minority people, especially Muong people. The main transportation here is boat or canoe.
